MakerSights is a product intelligence and consumer research platform. Collection of your Personal Information,. MakerSights may collect basic demographic information, such as your zipcode, age, gender, household income and other custom demographic questions developed by our brand partners. MakerSights may also collect an anonymized and disguised customer tag, provided by our brand partners, to facilitate the analyses we provide as part of our services. Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by MakerSights. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the MakerSights platform.

Use of your Personal Information

MakerSights uses non-sensitive customer information as part of its standard business practices in the collection and delivery of market research to its clients. We treat customer information and any research responses shared as information that is private. MakerSights does not sell, rent or lease any customer information it collects to third parties, except as set forth below.

MakerSights may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within MakerSights, in order to determine what MakerSights services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within MakerSights to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.

In rare cases of onward transfer to third parties, MakerSights is generally liable for the acts of the third party that are in violation of the Privacy Shield Principles. Customer information that is transferred to a third party abroad for processing or to support our efforts in providing our services to you is subject, by law, to a comparable level of protection as that provided by MakerSights. A “comparable level of protection” means a level of protection generally equivalent to that provided by Makersights.

Use of Cookies

The MakerSights website may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server.
